All roads lead to Italy mid
April each year, with the
week getting crossed out in
the diaries of many design enthusiasts
months in advance. Now an

FANTASY
New Baroque by Altamoda
Inspired by bright tones used to exalt
the ways that were, the collection takes
shape with a line by Ken Scott’s printed
fabrics. These ’60s flowers, popularised
by Audrey Hepburn and Jacqueline
Kennedy, are now on these “voluptuous
and vivacious” chairs and accessories.

Sparkling
by Marcel Wanders
for Magis
Known for its seaters, Magis’ new
creation is a marvel in easy storage
with screw on/off legs. “I give you
Sparkling as a name, not in reference
to waters, nor sunrays on your skin,
but Sparkling because inside you
there is a little star, a glow in the
dark, a direction and a destination,
for us to follow,” enthuses Marcel.

Designed and produced in Italy, these ovens have evolved through serious research and
development. Today the Smeg Classics make an unmistakable style statement in the kitchen.
Using colour and craft style from the ’50s, these Cortina ovens pay attention to detail:
The unique decoration of the window takes after the wrought iron artworks of blacksmiths,
and the external frame of the door characterised by a double inlay. Website www.smeg.it
